Description Job Accountabilities: • Partners with other senior management in defining the global Finance and Accounting strategic plan while ensuring the maximization of the company's financial performance • Oversees the execution of the strategic plan and manages the financial reporting, budgets, and internal processes • Leads the accounting department and advises management in interpreting and utilizing managerial accounting information • Manages all accounting operations while monitoring costs and capital expenditures • Directs the preparation of the budget, financial forecasts, and report variances • Develops business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls • Ensures timely and complete financial statements and oversees the preparation of the corporate annual report • Accurately reports the financial results to Applied Composites' operations by Generally Accepted Principles (GAAP) and/or International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) • Prepares reports which summarize and forecast business activity and financial position in areas of income, expenses, and earnings based on past, present, and future operations • Provides financial analyses, in particular for capital investments, pricing decisions, and contract negotiations • Gathers and analyzes data to inform commercial pricing decisions; validates accuracy and integrity to ensure competitive proposals and pricing decisions • Leads and directs work for a team of employees as defined by business needs • Manages staff selection, performance, development, and training process to ensure team competencies and capabilities to reach the business goals and expectations • Other responsibilities as assigned Additional Skills & Qualifications - Aerospace/ Defense preferred Experience Level Intermediate Level Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Indianapolis, IN.
