Supports and participates in Senior Management decision making process. Responsible for the operations of assigned departments and the integration of the services within overall hospital functions. Oversees the Finance, Accounting, budget, Charge Audit, Information Systems and Charge Description Master functions. Develops and maintains an effective system of internal controls. Position Requirements: A. Licensure/Certification/Registration: Certified Public Accountant, preferred. B. Education: Bachelor of Arts/Science in Accounting required. C. Experience: 5 years Accounting experience required. Hospital experience strongly recommended. D. Special Qualifications: Comprehensive knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, Third Party Reimbursement and Internal Controls. Strong problem-solving skills.
