Description We are looking for an experienced Controller to join our team in Hillsborough, North Carolina. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented candidate with a strong background in cost accounting and proven leadership abilities. The Controller will play a pivotal role in collaborating with plant operations and management to ensure financial accuracy and operational efficiency. Responsibilities: • Oversee all cost accounting functions, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting of manufacturing costs. • Collaborate closely with plant management to analyze financial performance and identify areas for improvement. • Develop and implement effective financial controls and processes to support operational goals. • Prepare detailed financial reports and forecasts to guide strategic decision-making. • Monitor and manage budgets to ensure alignment with company objectives. • Provide leadership and guidance to the accounting team, fostering growth and development. • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards within the manufacturing sector. • Conduct regular audits to maintain the integrity of financial data. • Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders to support business initiatives. • Drive process improvements within the cost accounting and financial reporting functions. Requirements • Extensive experience in cost accounting, particularly within manufacturing environments. • Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and mentor a team effectively. • Strong capability to collaborate with plant operations and management. • Proficiency in financial analysis and reporting. • Comprehensive understanding of budgeting and forecasting processes. • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance in the manufacturing industry. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to identify and implement process improvements within financial operations.
