Description Our client is a well-established and growing manufacturing organization seeking a Plant Controller to serve as the senior finance leader at the plant level with full P& L responsibility. This role is critical to ensuring accurate product costing, strong inventory controls, and complete financial ownership of plant performance. The Plant Controller will partner closely with plant leadership and corporate finance, acting as a true business partner to operations with end-to-end accountability for the plant’s financial results. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who thrives in a hands-on manufacturing environment and wants full visibility and ownership of plant economics. Controller Key Responsibilities: + Own the plant P& L, including revenue, cost of goods sold, operating expenses, and margin performance + Maintain and manage the plant’s standard costing system, including cost roll-ups, updates, and variance analysis + Analyze manufacturing variances (material, labor, and overhead) and partner with operations on root-cause analysis and corrective actions + Lead inventory accounting and controls, including cycle counts, physical inventories, reserves, and reconciliations + Drive accurate and timely month-end close and reporting for the plant + Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning with full accountability for plant financial results + Monitor capital expenditures and fixed assets at the plant level + Ensure strong internal controls and compliance with GAAP and company policies + Serve as a key financial advisor to plant leadership, providing insights to improve profitability and operational efficiency Why This Opportunity + Full ownership role with direct impact on plant performance and results + High visibility with both plant leadership and corporate finance + Stable organization with continued investment in manufacturing operations For immediate consideration call Jimmy Tunney at 517-657-8054.
