Be the finance leader who steers transformation and performance

We’re looking for a Country Controller who combines sharp financial acumen with strong people leadership. You’ll guide team (4 direct reports and a department of 15 total) through an important transformation—to a modern ERP (D365) implementation—while delivering accurate, timely, and compliant financials and improving working capital. This is a visible, high‑impact role partnering closely with executive leadership across Mexico and the LATAM region.

This position is part of the Finance team located in Tlanepantla, Mexico City, and will be onsite.

What you’ll do

Lead and develop a high‑performing finance organization across Billing, AR, AP, Treasury, Accounting, Taxes, Payroll, Inventory, and Cost—setting clear priorities, coaching leaders, and elevating team capabilities.

Own core finance cycles—Order‑to‑Cash (O2C), Procure‑to‑Pay (P2P), Record‑to‑Report (R2R), and Hire‑to‑Retire (H2R)—ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and strong controls.

Safeguard compliance and reporting quality—adhere to US GAAP, SOX, and Mexican statutory requirements; maintain an effective internal control system and partner with internal/external auditors to strengthen procedures.

Manage taxes end‑to‑end—oversee timely, accurate preparation, review, and filing of returns; stay current on evolving MX tax regulations.

Drive working capital performance—lead monthly and annual budgeting, deliver rolling forecasts, and analyze performance vs. plan with actionable insights.

Run local treasury—cash management and forecasting that support operational needs and growth.

Provide executive‑level decision support—build KPIs, dashboards, and analyses that improve visibility for execution teams and enhance the control framework.

Standardize and continuously improve processes to increase efficiency, consistency, and control effectiveness across the finance landscape.

Be a key leader in our ERP journey—actively support the D365 implementation and help the organization transition from Excel-based workflows to scalable, system‑driven processes.

Partner across the matrix—build strong relationships with local leadership and regional/global finance to shape policies and financial strategy.

What makes this opportunity compelling

Global scale: Operate within a large multinational context while shaping local impact—best of both worlds for career growth.

LATAM‑level visibility: Report to the LATAM Regional Controller and partner with executive leadership, with the mandate to influence outcomes.

Build from the ground up: You’ll help establish the standards and controls that carry us into a fully enabled D365 environment.

Own working capital: Your decisions will tangibly improve liquidity, resilience, and growth capacity.

What you’ll bring

Education: Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance (Master’s is a plus).

Leadership: 5+ years leading finance teams, with a track record of developing talent and driving change.

Technical depth: 10+ years overseeing financial information standards, US GAAP, SOX, internal controls, and external audit.

Regulatory expertise: Demonstrated knowledge of Mexican tax laws and regulations, with up‑to‑date awareness of new requirements.

Enterprise experience: Background in a large multinational company environment.

Systems & processes: Hands‑on with ERP systems (you’ll learn Dynamics 365 here) and core cycles (O2C, P2P, R2R, H2R).

Consolidation/reporting: Experience with Hyperion or OneStream for management reporting will be helpful.

Language: Proficient English—comfortable holding meetings and presenting independently.

How you’ll succeed here

You balance control and speed—tight compliance, clear delegation of authority, and pragmatic process design.

You are hands‑on and unflappable—equally comfortable in Excel today and in systems tomorrow.

You translate numbers into action—turn KPIs and trends into decisions leaders can act on.

You coach and elevate—you set expectations, remove blockers, and help your managers and teams grow.
