Controller – Managed Care / Health Plan Salary: $150,000 – $175,000 annually MUST HAVE Managed Care and Health Plan experience Candidates without this experience will not be considered. About the Role System One is seeking an experienced Controller to lead all accounting functions for a growing health plan organization. Reporting directly to the CFO, this role oversees financial reporting, internal controls, audits, and compliance while managing teams across AP, AR, tax, treasury, and statutory reporting. Key Responsibilities + Lead month-end close, general ledger, and work-in-process reporting + Establish and maintain strong internal accounting controls + Prepare and analyze financial statements and special reports + Coordinate quarterly reviews, annual audits, and tax filings + Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations + Manage teams supporting AP, AR, tax, treasury, and statutory reporting + Monitor cash flow, bank balances, and working capital ratios + Partner with leadership on financial insights and special projects + Maintain confidentiality of financial data and business plans Required Qualifications + Managed Care / Health Plan accounting experience – REQUIRED + CPA required + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (Master’s preferred) + 10+ years of accounting experience + Prior people management / supervisory experience + Strong written and verbal communication skills + Advanced proficiency with financial systems and MS Office + Ability to pass a Healthcare Sanctions background check Preferred Experience + Big 5 Public Accounting experience + Financial analysis experience within healthcare or insurance environments Why Join Us + Competitive salary ($150K–$175K) + High-impact leadership role reporting directly to the CFO + Stable, mission-driven healthcare organization + Opportunity to lead and influence financial strategy Ref: #208-Rowland Tulsa System One, and its subsidiaries including Joulé, ALTA IT Services, CM Access, TPGS, and MOUNTAIN, LTD., are leaders in delivering workforce solutions and integrated services across North America.
