Description
We are looking for an experienced Controller to oversee financial operations and reporting for a dynamic, multi-entity organization in Kingwood, Texas. In this role, you will manage accounting processes, ensure compliance with industry standards, and provide insightful analyses to support strategic decision-making. This position requires a strong background in financial management and the healthcare industry, along with a commitment to excellence and attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and accruals while maintaining general ledger accuracy across multiple entities.
• Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes, ensuring timely and precise reporting.
• Consolidate financial activities from various locations and generate internal financial statements, variance analyses, and benchmark reports for leadership.
• Monitor cash flow, organize accounts payable, and ensure timely vendor payments.
• Oversee payroll processes by reviewing data, reconciling payroll liability accounts, and preparing related journal entries.
• Track provider-level revenue, productivity metrics, and cost allocations while ensuring compliance with compensation models.
• Collaborate with revenue cycle management to verify the accuracy of charges, payer reimbursements, and write-offs.
• Develop and maintain fixed asset schedules, manage capital expenditure tracking, and conduct cost accounting analyses.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare industry regulations and internal controls to safeguard financial data and assets.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes, providing detailed analyses of budget-to-actual performance and operational trends.

Requirements
• Minimum of 7 years of detail-oriented experience in financial accounting and reporting.
• Proven expertise in account reconciliation and general ledger management.
• Strong knowledge of healthcare-specific accounting practices, including provider compensation and cost allocation.
• Familiarity with payroll processes and related reconciliations.
• Ability to manage multi-entity financial consolidations and prepare variance analysis.
• Proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis.
• Experience maintaining internal controls and ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
