Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a Controller in Greenwich, CT to work for a car dealership. We are looking for someone who thrives in an all hands on deck, family run business. This role is ideal for someone who takes initiative, communicates with warmth and clarity, and keeps operations running smoothly.
Responsibilities include:
• Preparing financial statement monthly according to manufacturer guidelines as well as completing month-end close process
• Ensuring all manufacturer accounts including warranty receivable, rebates/ incentive receivables and co-op advertising are current and accurate
• Weekly payroll preparation, accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Interprets the Daily Operating Control (DOC) regularly and informs Dealer of developing trends
• Provides department managers with financial and management reports and the direction of Dealer
• Functions as the main point of contact for CPA firm, providing information and reporting as requested
• Ensure compliance with all applicable government regulations including maintaining proper documentation for payroll taxes, income taxes, retirement plan records and others
• Participates in annual insurance proposals and lends support to Dealer in selection of insurance products. Acts as program administrator throughout the year
• Prepares and processes all insurance claims
• Ensure all office personnel are using proper accounting procedures and maintaining accurate records. Identifies training needs of staff and orchestrates educational needs.
Manages office staff, maintain personnel files and oversee new hire onboarding
Compensation:
$50/hr to $60/hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Skills and Requirements
2+ years of working as a controller in the auto industry
Previous experience managing staff and running a department
Knowledge of auto manufacturing and the regulations
