Description We are looking for an experienced Controller to join our team in Allegan, Michigan. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented individual with a strong background in accounting systems and financial operations. Responsibilities: • Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes. • Ensure accurate financial reporting by managing billing functions and job cost analysis. • Utilize accounting software systems to streamline workflows and improve efficiency. • Conduct audits to maintain compliance and identify areas for improvement. • Collaborate with the finance team to develop and implement best practices. • Prepare detailed financial reports using tools such as Crystal Reports. • Support the integration and optimization of SAP for enhanced accounting functionality. • Monitor and reconcile financial records to ensure accuracy and reliability. • Assist in forecasting and budgeting activities to support organizational goals Requirements • Strong knowledge of accounting software systems, including SAP. • Proven experience in managing accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR). • Familiarity with auditing processes and compliance standards. • Ability to perform job cost analysis and billing functions effectively. • Proficiency in financial reporting tools, such as Crystal Reports. • Excellent organizational and analytical skills. • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. • Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively within a team environment.
