Controller
Description We are looking for an experienced Controller to join our team in Charlotte, North Carolina. In this role, you will oversee financial reporting, accounting operations, and compliance, while providing strategic insights to support business decisions. This position requires strong leadership skills to guide a team and ensure the integrity of our financial processes. Responsibilities: • Prepare and review accurate financial statements on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. • Ensure adherence to U.S. accounting standards and corporate policies. • Coordinate and manage the annual audit process with external auditors. • Oversee general ledger activities and ensure timely and accurate close processes. • Lead key accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and fixed assets. • Manage intercompany transactions and perform reconciliations. • Strengthen internal control systems and ensure compliance with established accounting policies. • Supervise and mentor the accounting team, fostering growth and development. • Collaborate with the Finance Manager on budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. • Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic business decisions and initiatives. Requirements • Minimum of 8 years of experience with public audit experience • Strong understanding of U.S. accounting standards and compliance. • Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor teams effectively. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. • Experience coordinating audits and managing external relationships. • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field • CPA is required Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
