Compensation: Compensation is dependent on experience and ranges from $138,000 to $158,000.

General Summary:

Supervise day-to day activities of the Finance Department including preparing monthly financial statements, tax reporting, and asset reporting.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Assists in the development and implementation of facility goals and priorities relating to financial management, budget, accounting, purchasing, and/or payroll in compliance with State and Federal law, and ASMG policies and procedures.

Review and finalize monthly financial statements. This includes analyzing of expense and revenue line items and distribution of reports.

Directs the maintenance of accounting, timekeeping, payroll, inventory, property, and other related procedures and controls.

Review of account reconciliation and analyzing.

Monitors and projects daily cash flow.

Assists in analyzes financial performance and cost analyses for all departments; forecasting, and recommends appropriate actions/changes in order to meet business goals.

Management of facilities assets and reporting thereof.

Interact with other departments and vendors as needed.

Assist with preparation of all work papers and financial statement for annual audit and help serve as a liaison with outside auditors.

Conducts post-event financial review and analysis.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

Accounting, Finance, or Business degree required.

4 to 6 years’ experience in public accounting and/or financial management at a supervisory level or as department head required.

Thorough knowledge of financial and cost accounting.

Experience with Microsoft D365 and Defacto, preferred.

Skills and Abilities:

Excellent communication (verbal and written) and inter-personal skills among all levels of staff and clientele required.

Ability to speak, understand and read English required.

Work effectively with diverse groups of people among all levels within an organization required.

Work effectively as part of a team and independently with limited supervision required.

Assists in enforcing facility’s exclusive services required.

Perform leadership role and job tasks effectively despite sudden deadlines and changing priorities required.

Work effectively with complex flows of information required.

Detail-oriented required.

Excellent problem solving and organizational skills required.

Provide customer service in a professional and considerate manner required.

Excellent record of dependability and reliability required.

Professional presentation, appearance, and work standards required.

Computer Skills:

Basic computer skills including Microsoft Word, Access, and Outlook required.

Intermediate Excel skills required.
