Description Orlando company is looking for a Controller. Responsibilities of the Controller will include, but not limited to the following. -- Directs the monthly and quarterly corporate accounting close process ensuring compliance with applicable GAAP, staying abreast of current developments, and advising management regarding the potential impact of complex transactions and new accounting standards. -- Learn and understand the company's processes to ensure effectiveness of internal controls and revise and or create controls when needed to ensure accurate data and financial integrity. -- Reviews and maintain monthly corporate financial records, account reconciliations, consolidated actual results, and budget-to-actual variances; demonstrates proficiency in understanding and communicating relationships between our core operating activities and the impact of these activities on our financial results. -- Oversee accounting personnel. -- Coordinates with internal and external auditors and provide support for annual audits and quarterly reviews. -- Ensure the proper maintenance of a complete and accurate general ledger and the resulting managerial reports and financial statements. -- Develop and manage the year-end close process.
