Description We are looking for a Controller to oversee financial operations and ensure the accuracy of accounting processes within our organization. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can manage budgeting, forecasting, and month-end close activities while maintaining compliance with financial regulations. Join our team located south of Charlotte and contribute to the company’s financial health and strategic planning. Responsibilities: • Manage month-end close processes to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. • Develop and oversee budgeting and forecasting activities to support organizational goals. • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies. • Provide leadership and guidance to the accounting and finance teams. • Prepare and analyze financial statements to assist in strategic decision-making. • Monitor cash flow and manage financial risk effectively. • Collaborate with other departments to align financial planning with operational needs. • Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency in financial operations. • Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, and other accounting tasks. • Lead audits and coordinate with external auditors to ensure compliance. Requirements • Prior experience as Controller, Accounting Manager or Assistant Controller. • Strong knowledge of month-end close processes and financial reporting. • Expertise in budgeting and forecasting methodologies. • Familiarity with financial regulations and compliance standards. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. • Proficiency in accounting software and tools. • Strong communication abilities. • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification a plus.
