Description
A well-established organization in the manufacturing industry is seeking a seasoned finance professional to lead its accounting and financial operations. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in financial management, strategic planning, and operational support within a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Lead and oversee all accounting functions, including general ledger, inventory control, internal audits, and financial reporting.
+ Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
+ Partner with operational leadership to align financial strategies with business objectives.
+ Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
+ Supervise and develop a high-performing finance team, setting performance goals and supporting professional growth.
+ Ensure timely and accurate financial closings and reporting to corporate leadership.
+ Monitor and evaluate capital expenditures, inventory processes, and cost accounting practices.
+ Support internal and external audit processes and ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations.
+ Drive continuous improvement in financial operations and contribute to cost reduction and profitability initiatives.
Requirements
Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
+ Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance and accounting within a manufacturing setting.
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
+ Proven leadership experience managing finance teams and cross-functional collaboration.
+ Solid understanding of GAAP and internal controls.
+ Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial systems (e.g., Oracle, Hyperion).
+ U.S. work authorization required; this role is subject to compliance with applicable export control regulations.
Preferred:
+ CPA, CMA, or MBA.
+ Experience with cost accounting, financial planning, and strategic analysis.
+ Familiarity with ERP systems and financial reporting tools.
