This is a San Francisco-based firm has built a strong reputation for partnering with repeat entrepreneurs and scaling companies across key global markets. The Opportunity: This is a hands-on, strategic role ideal for a fund accounting professional who thrives in fast-paced environments and wants to work closely with a high-performing investment team. You’ll lead fund accounting, valuation, portfolio data management, and play a vital part in decision-making, reporting, and financial operations for the firm’s investment platform. Key Responsibilities: Fund Accounting & Finance Operations: + Manage the fund administrator and review capital calls, distributions, and quarterly investor reports + Oversee annual audits and tax return preparation + Complete investment checklists and support closing documentation workflows + Maintain weekly cash forecasts and capital planning + Support IR team with fundraising materials and DDQs + Assist General Counsel and COO with compliance filings (ADV, PF, Cayman) + Perform PFIC tests for foreign portfolio companies + Ensure accuracy of fund financials and performance reporting Valuation & Portfolio Data Management: + Collect and analyze financials, cap tables, and board materials from portfolio companies + Build and maintain portfolio dashboards, valuation support tools, and financial models + Develop automated reports to track KPIs and performance metrics + Visualize and communicate insights to the investment team and LPs + Conduct ad hoc analysis to support investment decisions Requirements + 6+ years of combined public accounting and VC/PE industry experience + Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field + CPA preferred, but not required + Strong GAAP knowledge and fund reporting experience + Advanced Excel proficiency; experience with macros, pivot tables, and data visualization tools + Familiarity with SQL or other query languages is a plus + Excellent written and verbal communication skills + High attention to detail, strong sense of ownership, and ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial, collaborative environment + A genuine interest in financial technology and the venture ecosystem Why Join: + Dynamic, collaborative, and mission-driven team + Firm is in growth mode and deeply committed to innovation and excellence + Opportunity to work on a diverse set of strategic and operational initiatives + Gain exposure to top-tier fintech investments and global fund operations Excited about this opportunity?
