Description We are looking for an experienced Controller to oversee financial operations and ensure the accuracy of accounting records for our organization. This role is ideal for someone with a strong attention to detail, a solid background in manufacturing, and expertise in financial systems. Located in Garland, Texas, this position offers an opportunity to contribute to a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: • Manage and oversee all accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities. • Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements and reports in compliance with regulatory requirements. • Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and controls to maintain organizational efficiency. • Analyze financial data to provide insights and recommendations for business strategies and decision-making. • Supervise document control processes, including scanning, compiling, and organizing financial records. • Collaborate with leadership to establish budgets and monitor financial performance against targets. • Oversee the integration and optimization of financial systems and software to enhance operational effectiveness. • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with internal and external standards. • Provide mentorship and guidance to the accounting team to support their growth and development. Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. • Proven experience as a Controller, preferably in the manufacturing industry. • Proficiency in financial software such as Great Plains, with the ability to adapt to new systems. • Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance. • Exceptional organizational skills with experience in document control and record management. • Advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities to support data-driven decision-making. • Excellent leadership and communication skills to collaborate across departments. • High attention to detail and accuracy in financial processes and reporting.
