Salary Mid-Point: $190,000 Location: Pittsburgh PA Job Type: Permanent IFG Pittsburgh is actively recruiting a Controller responsible for leading a staff to ensure accurate financial statements and analysis. The Controller will be responsible for acquisition integration and consolidation, audit management, shared service management and partner with business units to create profitability.
Responsibilities of the Controller
Drive and manage the full accounting team performance of the close process to meet tight deadlines Regular review and analysis of balance sheet and income statement accounts Collaborate with FP& A and accounting management to deliver relevant and timely reporting of financial data analytics, including monthly flash report, key financial metrics and actual spend against budgets/outlook Prepare various technical accounting analyses Perform process analysis and implement improvements Assist in the preparation of GAAP financial statements, including document preparation, data analysis, integrity validation and reconciliation processes Be forward facing with business unit executive leadership to drive profitability Leadership of treasury and shared services (AP, AR, Credit and Collections, Payroll.)
Requirements of the Controller
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or equivalent degree and/or experience Working knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is valuable CPA and/or MBA preferred Acquisition and divestiture experience Advanced user of Microsoft Excel Demonstrated technology and analytical abilities Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a customer service mindset
