Job Title: Controller
Job Description

As a Controller, you will develop and maintain robust internal controls and enterprise risk management systems. You will guide financial decision-making by establishing and enforcing comprehensive policies and procedures. Your role will involve analyzing financial control systems to identify strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities for improvement. You will prepare monthly close reports, financial projections, and board-level presentations. Additionally, you will lead the annual budget planning process in collaboration with the President and manage its monthly implementation and audits.

ResponsibilitiesOversee Accounts Payable, Payroll, and all costing/inventory transactions.Monitor product line profitability and manufacturing variances; drive cost productivity programs.Manage financial IT systems, including ERP (Global Shop) implementation and maintenance.Recommend hardware/software upgrades to reduce downtime and cybersecurity risks.Deliver accurate monthly forecasts and KPI reports; perform balance sheet reviews.Collaborate with Directors of Air Logic and Innovation & Technology to align cost with product value.Partner with the Management team to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.Stay informed on market trends affecting supply chain and advise leadership accordingly.Essential SkillsProficiency in Accounting, General Ledger, Month End, Reconciliation, Financial Reporting, and Cost Accounting.Experience in Accounts Payable, Budgeting, Financial Statements, Journal Entries, and Accounts Receivable.5+ years of experience in cost accounting or financial manufacturing.Strong skills in ERP/Excel, Bank Reconciliation, Analysis, Balance Sheet, and Inventory Management.Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (Master’s or CPA preferred).Additional Skills & QualificationsExcellent analytical and IT skills.Solid understanding of KPIs and Continuous Improvement/Operational Excellence.Ability to balance Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Inventory in decision-making.Work Environment

This position requires you to work onsite five days a week. You will be part of a smaller manufacturing company known for its friendly and welcoming culture. You will have the opportunity to oversee all accounting and finance operations.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $52.00 - $57.00/hr.
