What You’ll Do
As our Controller, you’ll be the financial backbone of the organization—guiding strategic decisions, optimizing systems, and ensuring financial integrity. Your responsibilities will include:
📊 Financial Leadership
+ Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
+ Ensure full compliance with GAAP and regulatory standards.
+ Deliver actionable financial insights to senior leadership and stakeholders.
+ Build and maintain robust financial models to support strategic planning.
🔍 Forecasting & Analysis
+ Lead budgeting and forecasting processes with precision.
+ Analyze trends, variances, and KPIs to uncover opportunities for growth.
+ Manage percentage-of-completion accounting and revenue recognition for projects.
🛠️ ERP & Systems Optimization
+ Spearhead ERP implementation and continuous improvement.
+ Train and empower staff on ERP tools and best practices.
👥 Team Development
+ Lead and mentor a high-performing accounting and finance team.
+ Foster a collaborative, growth-oriented culture.
+ Conduct performance reviews and support professional development.
âś… Audit & Compliance
+ Oversee internal and external audits with confidence.
+ Implement audit recommendations to strengthen financial controls.
đź’Ľ Payroll & Operations
+ Manage payroll for union and non-union employees.
+ Ensure compliance with payroll laws and resolve related issues.
+ Collaborate cross-functionally to align financial strategy with business goals.
What You Bring
+ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred).
+ 5+ years in a senior finance role within the construction industry.
+ Deep knowledge of GAAP, financial modeling, and forecasting.
+ Proven expertise in percentage-of-completion accounting.
+ ERP system proficiency and a passion for process improvement.
+ Strong leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Bonus Points For
+ Experience with cost accounting and balance sheet management.
+ A track record of streamlining financial reporting and ERP utilization.
+ Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $70.00/hr.
