Description We are looking for a highly experienced Controller to oversee and optimize financial operations for our organization in Naples, Florida. This role requires an individual with expertise in accounting and financial management, capable of driving accuracy and efficiency in all financial processes. Responsibilities: • Manage and oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities. • Develop and implement effective budgeting processes to align financial goals with organizational objectives. • Conduct thorough audits to ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies. • Monitor and enhance accounting software systems to ensure smooth operation and integration with organizational needs. • Collaborate with leadership to provide financial insights and recommendations for business growth. • Ensure timely and accurate tax filings while maintaining adherence to legal requirements. • Lead efforts to improve internal controls and streamline financial processes. • Train and mentor accounting staff to maintain a high-performing finance team. • Analyze financial data to identify trends and opportunities for cost savings. Requirements • A minimum of 10 years of experience in accounting and financial management roles. • Proficiency in accounting software systems, including QuickBooks. • Strong expertise in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions. • Demonstrated ability to perform audits and ensure compliance with financial regulations. • Experience in creating and managing budgets aligned with organizational objectives. • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to interpret complex financial data. • Excellent communication and leadership skills to effectively manage teams and collaborate with stakeholders.
