Description A local growing organization is seeking an experienced Financial Controller to lead its accounting functions and provide strategic financial insights. This role requires strong technical skills, leadership capabilities, and a proactive approach to streamlining processes and ensuring operational excellence. The ideal candidate will play a key role in driving efficiency, compliance, and long-term financial success across diverse business units. Primary Duties: Accounting Management: + Supervise daily accounting tasks, ensuring accuracy and efficiency across multiple business divisions. + Conduct account reconciliations and review journal entries. + Manage monthly closing processes and prepare consolidated financial reports. Tax and Regulatory Oversight: + Guarantee adherence to payroll, sales, and other taxation regulations within various jurisdictions. + Coordinate audits and engage with external financial consultants. Cash Flow Administration: + Track and manage daily liquidity needs across all business units. + Develop strong partnerships with financial institutions and oversee cash disbursement processes. Operational Improvements: + Establish and enforce internal policies and financial controls. + Identify and implement strategies to optimize accounting workflows and operational systems. Requirements Qualifications: + Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or MBA preferred). + 10+ years of relevant experience, with 5+ years in leadership. + Expertise in multi-entity accounting and tax compliance. + Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
