Controller
**_Primary Purpose:_** Provides strategic leadership and direction in conformance with corporate and group policies and procedures. Controlling of Purchasing or multiple Finance Departments. **_Primary Duties:_** + Develop, implement, and maintain processes and controlling while adhering to US GAAP, Adient policies and SOX requirements. + Proactively partner with Purchasing and/or SG&A groups while supporting the directors and managers to develop and support initiatives and improve actual financial results consistent with operating plan commitments. + Support the month/quarter/year end activities as necessary. + Support internal and external audit activities as necessary. + Budgeting and forecasting of Purchasing and or SG&A groups and facilities group. + Responsible for all journal entries and final trial balance review of month end, balance sheet reconciliations and control accounts. + Supports with Financial information for Capital requests. + Administrates Capital request data base. + Support monthly business reviews with key financial data to support decision making throughout the development process to ensure business case commitments are delivered. + Support ad-hoc requests. **_Job Specifications/Requirements:_** + Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting. + 10 years of finance and accounting background + Knowledge and background in accounting principles. + Ability to work cross-functional across the organization effectively. + Superior analytical, presentation, written and verbal communication skills. + Strong organization skills with follow-through and a focus on the details. + Required knowledge of financial systems such as SAP and HFM + Skills with Excel and other Microsoft Office tools **PRIMARY LOCATION** Central Tech Unit Plymouth MI ManpowerGroup is committed to providing equal employment opportunities in a professional, high quality work environment.
