Controller responsibilities: Lead all operational accounting functions and ensure accuracy in financial reporting Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis Support strategic decision-making with data-driven insights and financial modeling Ensure compliance with applicable financial regulations and internal controls Coordinate and manage external audits and tax filings Evaluate current systems and implement process improvements Collaborate cross-functionally with leadership to align financial goals with business strategy The successful candidate has: 5+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience, preferably in a manufacturing or product-based environment Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA designation strongly preferred Proven ability to lead and scale accounting operations in a growing business Strong knowledge of Canadian accounting standards and regulatory requirements Compensation and benefits: The salary range is $100,000 – $120,000 depending on experience Candidates with additional experience and higher compensation expectations may also be considered Comprehensive benefits package Candidates must be eligible to work in Canada.
