Job Role:

Key Responsibilities:

\n\nManage the Control Tower Team to achieve agreed performance targets and standards.\nLiaise with operations managers/KAMs to understand and deliver their expectations.\nMeasure the performance of the control tower.\nDesign and update the most efficient transport optimization capability for customer operations.\nCoach and develop team members to support succession planning.\nImplement new and existing customers onto the TMS.\nIdentify new transport opportunities within TMS for commercial development.\nCoordinate data integration, quality, and updates.\nEnsure data timeliness and quality for all transactions.\nManage GPS vendor, logins, report development, and customization.\nDevelop solutions using GPS and support the Operations Manager in customer interface.\n\n

Experience: 5 - 10 years of relevant experience.

Qualification:

\n\nBachelor’s Degree\nIT certification/degree course\nHands-on experience in working with TMS/WMS\nExperience with any ERP\nExperience of TMS rollout or interface with any other system is an added advantage.\nSkills and Competencies:\nExcellent leadership and communication skills\nExcellent IT skills (spreadsheets, word processing, interface, and GPS)\nKnowledge of Transport Scheduling and Database Systems\nExperience within a 3rd party logistics business\nExperience in managing a team through others\nImplementation planning and scheduling\nPrevious experience in a customer-facing environment\nProject management skills\nDesirable: Change management or project implementation experience, experience with Transport Management Software.\n
