Preferred Qualifications
3+ years in machine design, system integration, or manufacturing is preferredPLC programming experience (Allen Bradley Logix / Studio 5000) desiredExperience with Servo Systems (Rockwell Automation Kinetix)HMI/SCADA experience (Ignition, Wonderware, LabVIEW, PanelView)Knowledge of electrical distribution systems <600VProficiency in AutoCAD ElectricalExperience with industrial robots (Motoman, Fanuc)Familiarity with NEC, NFPA 70E, and NFPA 79Proven ability to balance several projects at one timeJoin a collaborative engineering team that designs, builds, and commissions control systems for custom industrial equipment—including automation systems, robotic cells, and innovative production machines. This role involves electrical schematic design, PLC/HMI programming, and system integration from concept through commissioning and is based out of our Whitehall, Michigan location.
Primary Responsibilities
Design electrical control systems for industrial machineryDevelop AutoCAD Electrical schematics for panels and machinesProgram PLCs and configure HMI/SCADA interfacesCollaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate systemsSupport commissioning and troubleshooting at production sitesManage work within project budgets, schedules, and documentationEnsure compliance with CE, NEC, NFPA 70E/79, and safety standards
