Control Room Operator III

Our client is seeking a Control Room Operator to work within their facilities located in Spring, TX on a 12-month assignment (with possibility of extension / becoming permanent).
Responsibilities Implement daily work objectives, housekeeping, safety, health, environmental, and security protocols. Participate actively in daily toolbox meetings and regular safety meetings. Identify and implement corrective actions through continuous surveillance of wells and equipment. Function as Equipment Care Technician, performing routine maintenance activities. Report any issues with alarm, emergency, or emergency shutdown systems. Provide clear and accurate shift change information to ensure operational continuity. Coordinate and monitor maintenance jobs according to planning. Log all relevant operational events and abnormal situations continuously. Take product samples for laboratory analysis and conduct field tests. Engage in emergency response activities and report incidents as per guidelines. Maintain communication with the Operations Shift Supervisor regarding operational activities. Ensure thorough diagnostics of well problems before requesting intervention operations. Maintain wellhead and surface equipment in good working order prior to intervention operations. Support ongoing Wellwork operations as needed. Education & Experience High School Diploma Skills & Qualifications Minimum of 5yrs Control Room Operator (5yrs I&E or 5yrs Production Lease Operator) Control Room specific – All systems (i.e. turning pumps on/off – unman remote control facilities).
