Join our professional security team as a Control Room Operator, based in a prestigious building in central London, where you'll play a vital role in maintaining safety, security, and operational efficiency. Working in a fast-paced environment, you'll monitor CCTV, intruder, and fire alarm systems — responding swiftly and calmly to incidents as they arise.

About the Role

Monitor and maintain CCTV, fire, and intruder alarm systems to ensure a safe, secure environment.

Respond quickly and effectively to emergencies or unexpected incidents with a calm, methodical approach.

Support the Shift Leader (TL) with daily operations and team coordination.

Ensure compliance with Assignment Instructions at all times.

Escalate serious incidents appropriately and promptly.

Assist in training and mentoring new or existing team members.

Produce clear, accurate incident reports and maintain detailed records.

Identify and report Health & Safety issues on-site.

Work closely with the security management team to uphold high operational standards.

Ensure all alarms are actioned swiftly and correctly.

Carry out any other reasonable instructions as directed by management.

Knowledge & Experience

You'll bring solid awareness and understanding of:

Private Security Industry law and compliance

Health & Safety and Fire Safety protocols

Emergency procedures and conflict management

Access control, patrolling, and search procedures

Use of security technology and systems

Professional communication, reporting, and record-keeping

Requirements

Valid, in-date CCTV (Public Space Surveillance) Licence – essential

Previous experience in a control room or security operations role - essential
