We're looking for a Control Room Operator for Ivory Coast to efficiently perform onsite production activities in line with OEM recommendations, HSE best practices and client load demands. The role is aimed at remotely monitoring daily generation activities such as to ensure operational reliability and availability of the plant.

What you’ll do:

Continually monitor customer demand and site performance via the SCADA system and optimise asset utilisation to satisfy our internal & external customers. Effectively use the (SPM) SCADA system to control site start-up/shutdown.Monitor and action site/asset alarms to support incident resolution, maximising equipment availability. Investigate and resolve identified site performance issues with the site team.Review asset performance against OEM recommendations. Identify and escalate deviations to the Production Lead. Perform first line analysis on asset performance to maximise Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).Continually seek opportunities to optimise asset utilisation as per customer demand. Promote / escalate performance issues / initiatives as required.Regularly perform data sanity checks to ensure the system reflects actual performance. Support system upgrades. Provide feedback on IT/controls equipment/technology reliability.

You’ll have the following skills and experience:

Minimum 1 years’ experience on a Power Project environment. Ability to read single line diagrams and electrical drawings.Experience with SCADA applications, PLC and HMI controls & LAN systems. Computer literate (Excel, Word, Power Point & Outlook essential).The ability to work in a cohesive team. Excellent oral and written communication skills (English, oral French).Ability to withstand pressure. Well organized, able to handle multi tasks in a controlled manner.Analytical thinking with attention to detail in complex engineering scenariosGood interpersonal and personnel development skills
