Job Description
As a Control Panel Assembler, you will be responsible for the intricate wiring interconnection of industrial control components. This includes but is not limited to circuit breakers, power distribution, variable frequency drives, starters, programmable logic controllers, and network gear. Your role will involve mechanical assembly and light fabrication work, ensuring component quality and correctness, and maintaining workspace organization and cleanliness. You will communicate accurately with the team on work timelines, maintain real-time production records, and ensure all work meets company standards, including an in-house quality and standards certification.
ResponsibilitiesPerform wiring interconnection of industrial control components.Conduct mechanical assembly and light fabrication work.Inspect components for quality and correctness.Maintain workspace organization and cleanliness.Communicate accurately with the team on work timelines.Maintain real-time production records and complete all reports accurately.Ensure all work meets company standards.If experienced, lead coworker training, mentorship, and oversight.Lead morning huddles to deliver goals and plans with the team.Act as a team lead for the panel team, setting the pace for the day.Essential Skills3-4 years experience working with UL508A (CSA experience also considered).Good English communication skills (written, reading & verbal).Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Proven experience in detail-oriented work.Capability to lift up to 50lbs.Leadership experience or potential for team lead/shop foreman roles.Additional Skills & Qualifications4+ years of experience working with UL508A or CSA.Experience in leading a small team, training, and KPI management.Positive and proactive mindset.Organized and responsible.Team player with a solution-minded approach.Detail-oriented.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
The work environment consists of a small facility where the warehouse and production share the floor, maintained at room temperature. The culture emphasizes a positive attitude and adherence to company core values, fostering a good overall vibe while ensuring work is completed accurately. The team size includes 35 total employees, with 8 on the panel team. The work schedule is Monday to Friday from 6am to 2pm, with potential flexibility required during busy periods, such as longer days or Saturday shifts.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $32.00/hr.
