Join CGI's Middleware team as a Control-M Infrastructure Administrator, responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and optimization of the Control-M platform. This role encompasses all activities related to the infrastructure and system components of Control-M, ensuring high availability, performance, and compliance across enterprise environments. You will work closely with other middleware specialists and application teams to deliver a reliable workload automation infrastructure.
. Configure, implement, and support complex Control-M batch streams.
. Install, configure, and maintain Control-M components (Agents, AFT/MFT, Automation API) across distributed environments.
. Modernize the Control-M infrastructure through integrations and Automation API.
. Manage escalated incidents and perform root cause analysis for P1–P4 issues.
. Test and validate changes to the Control-M environment prior to production deployment.
. Collaborate with internal teams and third parties for change implementation and migration projects.
. Ensure adherence to quality standards, ITIL policies, and service level agreements (SLAs).
. Participate in disaster recovery planning and execution for Control-M environments.
. Maintain Control-M security, including user role management and compliance with enterprise standards.
. Create and update calendars, folders, jobs, and job conditions within Control-M.
. Automate routine administrative tasks using Automation API or scripting.
. Maintain detailed documentation of procedures, configurations, and changes for audit and compliance.
. Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
. Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in Control-M administration and support.
. Strong knowledge of Control-M architecture and hands-on experience with versions v9.20 and v9.21 (installation, configuration, disaster recovery procedures).
. Experience with multiple Control-M versions, including migration projects. Proficiency in Windows Server (2016/2019/2022) and UNIX/Linux environments.
. In-depth expertise with Control-M components: Agents, Advanced File Transfer (AFT), Managed File Transfer (MFT), Automation API.
. Skills in creating and managing calendars, folders, jobs, conditions, and quantitative resources.
. Experience managing Control-M security and ensuring compliance with enterprise standards.
. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of ITIL processes (Incident, Problem & Change Management).
. Ability to work with BMC support on Level 4 incidents.
. Fluency in English (mandatory); French is an asset.
Preferred:
. Knowledge of other file transfer solutions (CFT, Connect:Direct, MQ Series, Secure Transport).
. Familiarity with cloud environments or integration technologies (preferred).
CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications.
