Conduct virtual patrols across multiple surveillance screens to detect and report suspicious or unusual activity. Coordinate and dispatch rover units in collaboration with on-site security teams to address operational requests, respond to incidents, and support facility-wide safety and service needs. Maintain accurate records of security-related events and activities using approved documentation methods. Respond promptly to alarms and initiate emergency protocols, including coordination with first responders. Manage access to the facility through video surveillance and access points, ensuring compliance with security protocols. Maintain continuous and professional communication with on-site personnel via radio and telephone. Adhere to all emergency procedures and site-specific protocols for incident escalation and safety management. Identify and report any technical issues with surveillance or control systems to ensure operational integrity. Qualifications for Control Centre Guard Valid BC Security Worker License Advanced Security Training (AST) is considered an asset; training can be provided if not yet completed Current First Aid & CPR Certification Strong command of English (written and verbal) Comfortable using surveillance software and general computer systems Prior experience in a control room, dispatch, or monitoring role is highly desirable Demonstrates professionalism, discretion, and situational awareness in sensitive environments
