Job Summary:The Control Automation Engineer is responsible for fulfilling control projects, providing timely control estimation, preparing quotations, and supporting both the Service Sales and Product Sales teams. This role involves project managing and fulfilling control automation projects, providing technical support to technicians, assist service sales engineers with control service agreement estimation, and managing and generating reports for connected services. The ideal candidate will ensure efficient and accurate processing of orders, maintain high levels of customer satisfaction, and support the sales team in achieving their targets.
Responsibilities: Control Project Management and Fulfilment:Monitor project progress to ensure successful project completion.Manage all controls automation and connected services within designated sales regionCoordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure timely delivery and installation of control systemsPrepare and provide all required documentation as required by customer, sales and service team including control functional description, drawings, and operational manualsProgram and commissioning controls for projectsResolve any installation and/or operational issuesMonitor project progress to ensure successful project completion. Pre-Sales Engineering Support:Provide timely and accurate control estimations to support the Service Sales and Product Sales teams. Quotations to include details and in reference to specification (if applicable)Prepare and manage estimation templates for controls projects, cooling and heating plant managers, booster heating systems, airside equipment, connected services, and remote monitoring installationsCollaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements and tailor quotations accordingly. Technical Support:Provide technical support to technicians, assisting them with troubleshooting and repair tasksAssist in the preparation of repair quotations, as requiredService as a technical resource for the sales and service teams, providing expertise and guidance as needed. Customer Service:Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquires related to control projectsProvide prompt and professional responses to customer queries via phone, email, or chatResolve customer issues in a timely manner, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction Compliance:Ensure all processes and procedures comply with company policies and industry regulations Connected Services Management and Reporting:Manage digitally connected services, ensuring seamless integration and operationAssist technician with installation and commissioning of digital connected servicesGenerate detailed reports on connected services performance, usage, and issuesAnalyse connected services data to identify trends, opportunities for improvement, and potential issuesProvide regular updates and reports to management on the status and performance of connected services General:Be a proactive member of an ANZ regional controls automation team sharing ideas and best practices and help and guidance with the other team members. Participate in team meetings and calls and internal 'online' communications amongst the group

Qualifications:
Great interpersonal, written & oral communication skills 5 + years' experience in the relevant industryTrade Qualified in relevant tradeThorough understanding of HSE industry requirements Applied knowledge of BMS engineering principles and energy conservation measuresHands-on experience in building management systemsTechnical knowledge in HVAC and Central Plant or Energy Solutions environmentHigh level of technical competency in BMS and related control products/devices. (Ideally Tridium / Trend / Tracer, although not essential). Experience with Tracer or Trend software preferred
