Responsibilities:
Develop, negotiate, and administer a wide range of contracts, including those for equipment, materials, services, and construction. Ensure all contracts are in compliance with company policies, legal regulations, and the industry’s best practices. Maintain accurate and up-to-date contract documentation, including records of negotiations, amendments, and performance. Monitor contract performance and identify potential risks or issues, implementing corrective actions as needed. Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, fostering open communication and collaboration. Conduct supplier performance evaluations and provide feedback to drive continuous improvement. Resolve contract disputes and address supplier concerns in a timely and professional manner. Collaborate with procurement teams to develop contract strategies and specifications. Assist in the evaluation of supplier proposals and bids, ensuring alignment with contract requirements. Provide guidance and support to internal stakeholders on contract-related matters. Monitor contract costs and identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements. Ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments. Conduct regular contract reviews to ensure cost-effectiveness and value for money. Ensure adherence to all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations. Prepare regular reports on contract performance, compliance, and cost metrics. Conduct audits and reviews to ensure contract compliance and identify areas for improvement Work in compliance with ISO 14001 and 45001 StandardsQualification Requirements:
Professional certifications such as Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) or Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM). Experience with international contracts and cross-border transactions. Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Law, Economics, or a related field.Experience and Skills Requirements:
Minimum of 7 years of experience in contract management, preferably within the mining or heavy industry sector. Strong knowledge of contract law, procurement principles, and supply chain management practices. Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in contract management software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work within a fast paced and demanding environment. Knowledge of mining industry standards and practices.What We Can Offer You:
