The Opportunity:
PEO Aircraft Carriers Team for PMS 378 Contracts Support (Jr) to the NEWCON Program Office (PMS 378). Provide comprehensive contracting support to the U.S. Navy for the new construction aircraft carriers program office. The PEO Aircraft Carriers Contracts group needs assistance in managing their ship procurement contracts. In this role, you will support the contracts team by tracking contract costs, monitoring changes, and developing inputs for progress briefs. You will use Microsoft tools such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint to read and understand contracts, build tracking tools, and create briefs to summarize contractual status. You will analyze invoice data and help the customer track cash flow related to the budget.
Responsibilities:
Work with the PEO Carriers Contract team to track contracts issued for new aircraft carrier construction and various support contracts.Track CDRL requirements and maintain an invoices tracker spreadsheet that tracks the invoice values for new aircraft carrier contracts.Maintain configuration management of funding modifications and Technical Instruction (TI) revisions by building and updating spreadsheet trackers.Tracking and assisting with the funding, deobligations, and obligations on the construction contracts to make sure all funding is accounted for properly.Qualifications:
Required:
1-3 years of experience with contracts support, data analysis and/or project managementBachelor's degree in related field Good reading comprehensionProficient in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)Ability to build customer tracking toolsActive Secret Clearance (required)Ability to interface efficiently with team members and technical leads.Desired:

The proposed salary range for this position is:
