Recruiting for this role ends on July 31st, 2025 Work You'll Do: + Strategic Acquisition Leadership: Serve as a domain expert on strategic acquisition topics related to federal contracts, guiding and coordinating contractual aspects of pursuit strategy and proposal development through to award for assigned opportunities. + Complex Contract Management: Independently review complex contract actions, develop tactical action plans, and monitor your portfolio to identify risks and opportunities, ensuring timely project completion and accurate deliverables. + Collaboration and Problem Solving: Collaborate with support teams to address complex contract administration and proposal challenges, ensuring effective solutions and seamless execution. + Risk and Opportunity Communication: Track and communicate key issues, risks, and opportunities, and negotiate complex contracts and agreements as needed to support organizational goals. + Knowledge Sharing and Development: Share lessons learned to facilitate knowledge sharing within the team and organization, promoting continuous improvement and development. Required Skills: + 10+ years of relevant experience in contracts management, with a deep understanding of the Federal Acquisition Lifecycle and federal contracting regulations. + Proven ability to foster team growth, manage high-performing teams, and drive cross-functional collaboration, with at least 3 years of supervisory experience. + Expertise in supporting diverse federal acquisition approaches and contract types, including alternative acquisition approaches (OTA, CSOs, SBIR, STTR), with comprehensive knowledge of solicitation types, FAR, and DFARS. + Educational Background: Bachelor's Degree required. + Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite and collaboration tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint, TEAMS, etc.). + Ability to travel up to 25% based on client and sector needs. + Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship, now or in the future. + Ability to operate effectively in a demanding executive-level environment. Preferred Experience: + Extensive knowledge of TechFAR and its application in federal procurement processes. + Proven ability to utilize emerging technologies, such as Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, to enhance procurement processes and drive business process improvements. + Advanced degree + Direct experience managing a team of 3 or more, demonstrating effective leadership and team development. + NCMA certifications such as Certified Federal Contracts Manager (CFCM), Certified Commercial Contracts Manager (CCCM), or Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM). The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $113,100 to $232,300. You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
