Duration: 12-month contract (subjects to extension)
Working closely with the Contracts & Procurement (C&P) Manager and the Team Lead – Enterprise Digital / IT, you will lead sourcing and contracting activities that support the diverse Digital & Technology needs of a top?ten global energy company.
This role is suited to someone who thrives in a fast?paced environment, enjoys stakeholder engagement, and has strong commercial acumen across technology categories.
Duties & Responsibilities
Lead end?to?end sourcing activities across Digital & Technology pillars, including:
Reserves & Subsurface
Technology & Innovation
Telecommunications
IT
Cybersecurity
Digital / AI
Enterprise Systems
Capital project technology requirements
Manage end?to?end sourcing activities for corporate stakeholders with digital?related contracting needs
Engage stakeholders to understand business requirements and advise on:
Contracting strategies
Sourcing approaches
Opportunities to reduce total cost of ownership (TCO)
Lead negotiations on commercial and contractual terms, ensuring outcomes align with organisational risk tolerance
Develop and maintain reporting and analytics to support the ongoing maturity of the Technical Services category
Provide flexibility and support across portfolios as needed
Conduct all sourcing activities in a highly ethical, compliant, and professional manner, consistent with procurement governance standards
Skills & Experience
University degree in business, finance, supply chain, or related discipline, or equivalent experience in contracting and procurement
Demonstrated experience procuring technology products, services, and solutions, or the ability to rapidly adapt existing procurement expertise to a new category
Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to engage at all organisational levels
Highly organised self?starter capable of managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
Positive, proactive team player who works effectively with people from varied disciplines and backgrounds
Strong understanding of procurement ethics, governance, and responsible sourcing principles
