Are you an experienced contracts professional with a strong background in trading and shipping? We’re currently seeking a Contract Advisor to join a high-performing commercial team based in Dubai. This is a dynamic opportunity within a global trading environment, focusing on oil products, freight, and marine cargo.

 

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

Provide contractual and commercial advice across physical oil trading agreements. Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of contracts including spot and term deals, offtake agreements, tenders, and storage arrangements. Ensure compliance with internal policies, risk frameworks, and trading standards. Support resolution of contract disputes and liaise with internal stakeholders (Legal, Compliance, Risk, Insurance). Contribute to process improvement, knowledge capture, and documentation updates.

 

 

Ideal Candidate Profile:

Minimum 5 years’ experience in trading, shipping, or oil & gas contracts, ideally within a commodities or marine logistics environment. Strong understanding of commercial risk, deal structures, and contract law. Skilled in negotiation, stakeholder engagement, and high-pressure decision-making. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and adept at managing multiple priorities. Based in the UAE or with immediate availability to relocate.
