SummaryManages all aspects of the grants and contracts for research projects Responsible for review of all submissions applications develops budgets negotiates contracts and analyzes and resolves legal and technical problems of contracts Responsible for documentation to be in compliance with Hospital policies and Federal and State agency regulations Serves as resource and liaison to all investigators Reports to ManagerJob ResponsibilitiesReview and negotiate project sponsored contractsCollaborate with Researchers to prepare project budgets that maximize study billingsResponsible for project account setup and initial start up billingsEducate and train InvestigatorsDepartments system wide on internal processesProvide support to project investigators for ordering project expendituresResponsible for the management of the Clincard and Gift Card Research Subject payment systemCollaborates with Hartford HealthCare research investigators to prepare grant submissions to Federal State and Foundation AgenciesMaintenance of amendments and Contract changesParticipate in annual department goal setting activities and month end and year end close processesWork whereevery required SRA Certification preferredmiddot Minimum three to Five yearsrsquo experience in grants management accounting and contract administration performing duties involve in monitoring and maintaining complex and diverse agreements and financial expenditure reportsmiddot Ability to write and interpret technical contract language and understand its implicationsmiddot Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively written and oralmiddot Experience in MS suite Word and Excelmiddot Experience with contract negotiations and preparation of Research
