Description
We are looking for a Contracts Administrator & Project Coordinator to join an exciting construction team in Germantown, Maryland. In this role, you will handle essential project-related documentation, oversee contracts, and coordinate budgets and job cost systems. Your expertise in construction contracting, project management documentation, and financial reporting will be critical to ensuring smooth operations and compliance. This role requires on-site attendance five days per week and offers an extremely competitive benefits package plus bonus eligibility.
Responsibilities:
• Utilize DocuSign to draft, circulate, and finalize vendor contracts, subcontracts, change orders, and service agreements.
• Ensure the acquisition and documentation of Certificates of Insurance (COIs) with all required endorsements in the job cost system.
• Accurately manage lien waiver records and ensure adherence to related tracking protocols.
• Partner with contractors and construction management personnel to handle payment requests, produce job cost reports, and assist vendors in navigating internal procedures.
• Enter job-related invoices into the job cost system, maintaining compliance with contract terms and task directives.
• Supervise project closeout activities, such as retention releases, and work with vendors to settle contracts and change orders.
• Enforce vendor and consultant insurance compliance requirements, collaborating closely with project managers for alignment.
• Support budget input into the job cost system and create monthly forecast reports as required.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 5+ years of recent experience in a project support or management role within real estate development, construction, or a related industry.
• Proven experience in construction contract administration.
• Strong financial management and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in budgeting and forecasting within a job cost environment.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, with preference for experience using Microsoft Project.
• Familiarity with Yardi Voyager is a plus.
• Experience with DocuSign is highly desired.
Salary Range: $90,000-110,000 + bonus, in addition to comprehensive benefits package including 100% employer-paid health insurance, 3 weeks vacation, 401K + employer match, and other incredible perks.
