Costpoint Contracts Administrator | Pay: 85k - 95k/yr | 8-month contract-to-hire | Fully-Remote
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Contracts Administrator to join our team. This role involves reviewing and setting up contracts with precision and accuracy within Costpoint, and maintaining direct projects efficiently. The successful candidate will assist with billing issues, contract closeouts, and support audits to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
Responsibilities
Review contracts for setup with accuracy and completion in Costpoint.Set up and perform day-to-day maintenance on direct projects, including setting appropriate direct cost ceilings, project funding and ceiling values, direct hours ceiling, user-defined information, project labor categories, and rates in Deltek’s Costpoint 8 Project Setup Module.Assist Accounting and Contracts Administrators with billing issues.Assist contract closeout staff with contract reconciliation and de-obligations.Support internal and external audits of all contractual data, ensuring compliance with internal processes as well as Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA), Defense Contract Management Agency, and General Services Administration (GSA) requirements.Effectively communicate within the team, the company, and customers.Other duties as assigned.Essential Skills
3+ years of experience in contract administration supporting all types of US Defense and Federal Contracts.3+ years of experience in maintaining US Government contracts utilizing the Costpoint application for all types of contracts.Expert-level knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Adobe PDF applications.Working familiarity with accounting policies and principles, specifically focusing on governmental accounting.Working understanding of FAR and DFARS clauses related to invoicing requirements.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related field with 3 years of relevant experience, or Master's degree with 1 year of relevant experience, or High School Diploma or equivalent with 7 years of relevant experience.Work Environment
The position is fully remote, with a small, close-knit team of about 7 people. The team operates primarily within the DMV area, providing a collaborative and supportive work environment. Industry focus includes defense and civilian sectors, with no initial clearance required but possibly needed in the future.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $85000.00 - $90000.00/hr.
