Job Description
This position is primarily responsible for managing the entire contracts lifecycle and portfolio. You will review and assign contract requests to the appropriate team members as they are submitted to SpringCM. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing customer relationships and outreach, corporate policy compliance reporting, and the preparation, review, and processing of the company’s operational agreements. The ideal candidate must be able to manage these responsibilities independently, engaging directly with internal clients and external suppliers, and taking responsibility for various projects.
Responsibilities
+ Manage the entire contracts lifecycle and portfolio on a day-to-day basis.
+ Coordinate with Senior Paralegal, Counsel, and Senior Counsel to assign contract requests to legal resources.
+ Assist with contracts and systems training.
+ Work with internal business clients to secure final, signed contract copies for legal compliance.
+ Collaborate with Counsel to enhance and improve the contracts lifecycle.
+ Manage the review and approval of legal review waiver requests.
+ Assist Contract Specialist with management of system access, tracking, and notification features for internal clients.
+ Provide backup support as needed.
+ Manage corporate policy compliance reporting regarding policies impacting the Contracts Group.
+ Coordinate regular vendor contracts reviews.
+ Support Senior Paralegal with updating and maintaining the Legal Department's 'Contracts' page on a proprietary database or SharePoint site.
+ Assist with preparation and review of contracts, including Qualified Vendor Agreements, Staffing Agreements, Non-Disclosure Agreements, Master Services Agreements, Statements of Work, License Agreements, Amendments, and Change Orders.
+ Update and maintain approved template agreements.
+ Manage the Contracts Inbox.
+ Conduct basic legal research, including corporate entity status verification.
+ Assist with customer outreach, including training sessions, webinars, 'how to' sheets, and 'self-service' templates.
+ Update and manage the Legal Department's 'Contracts' page to reflect changes and updates to policies, templates, and other materials.
+ Assist the legal team with organizational aspects of larger legal projects, including corporate transactions.
+ Perform other related duties as assigned.
Essential Skills
+ 5-6 years of procurement and contracts experience, including IT agreements, goods and services, marketing, and consulting agreements.
+ Experience with commercial, corporate, or hospitality contracts.
+ Proficiency in contracts and contractual language review, drafting, and redlining.
+ Associates or Bachelors degree (or equivalent experience).
+ Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and the MS Office Suite.
+ Experience with DocuSign, SpringCM, or Adobe Acrobat.
+ Strong negotiation and contracts management skills.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Work Environment
The position requires onsite work for four days a week, with the option to work remotely on Monday or Friday once trained. Core working hours are between 10 AM and 2 PM, with flexible start times between 7:30 AM and 9:30 AM for an 8-hour workday. Parking is paid for.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $43.23 - $43.23/hr.
