We have a temporary HR Business Partner role in our friendly four‑person HR team, covering an internal secondment while our HRBP takes up a temporary HR Manager position at another UK site. By joining Parker Meggitt Fareham you’ll help shape the people agenda for Manufacturing Operations. Parker Meggitt Fareham is a precision aerospace site of ~320 employees delivering £160M+ in revenue. We design, manufacture, repair and components and systems for airframes, engines and the aftermarket across commercial and defence sectors, operating to exacting aerospace quality standards. About the role Reporting to the Site HR Manager, you will act as a business partner to operational leaders, supporting ~150 employees. You’ll own the end‑to‑end employee lifecycle and lead workforce planning, talent management, engagement and organisational development while ensuring compliance with aerospace standards. Key responsibilities + Manage the full employee lifecycle: recruitment, onboarding, development, performance, retention and offboarding. + Drive talent management, succession planning and development plans; organise career fairs and inductions. + Advise managers on employee relations, absence management and complex casework (ACAS/legal/Occupational Health liaison). + Lead engagement, DE&I and CSR initiatives and manage recognition programmes. + Coordinate mandatory and job‑specific training and support pay review inputs. + Maintain HR systems, analyse people data, support audits (BMS) and manage health surveillance administration. + Represent HR on cross‑functional projects and lead change initiatives site‑wide. + Mentor and supervise the HR Apprentice. About you + Degree or equivalent experience; with a CIPD level 7. + Commercial HR experience, ideally in manufacturing/operations. + Strong stakeholder engagement, coaching and employee‑relations skills. + Data‑led decision making and knowledge of UK employment law and BPSS. + Able to travel occasionally to other UK sites.
