Contractor Compliance Lead

Qualification
Bachelor’s degree in law, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Accounting, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus
Experience
• Minimum 8–11 years’ experience in contractor compliance, risk management, procurement, or related roles, preferably within the mining or construction industries.
• Strong knowledge of local laws, regulations, and industry best practices regarding contractor compliance and management Requirements • Excellent understanding of contractor management systems and compliance frameworks.
• Proficient in managing Damstra onboarding system (advantageous).
• Proficient in SAP Ariba and other compliance monitoring tools.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and contractors.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, for reporting and training purposes.
• Proficient in audit methodologies and compliance monitoring tools.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Fluent in English (both written and spoken), with proficiency in Urdu or Baloch (advantageous). Responsibilities • Develop, implement, and monitor contractor compliance programs in alignment with company policies and legal requirements.
• Conduct regular audits, inspections, and assessments of contractor activities to ensure adherence to company policies, contractual terms, legal, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Legal, HSE, Security, HR, Operations, Finance, and Project teams to ensure contractor compliance is integrated into all phases of the contract lifecycle.
• Provide training and guidance to contractors on company policies, compliance, legal, and regulatory requirements.
• Manage contractor compliance records and documentation, reporting findings and recommendations to management.
• Investigate contractor-related incidents of non-conformance, ensuring corrective actions are implemented effectively.
• Liaise with regulatory bodies and external auditors during inspections, and compliance reviews involving contractors.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance contractor compliance and risk management processes.
