When not directly interacting with customers; collaborate with colleagues in your office. **What's in it for you:** Trane Technologies is hiring a Contracting Account Manager in Indiana. As a Contracting Account Manager, you will be responsible for developing customer relationships with building owners to maximize account penetration and customer retention. You will work alongside the Services Account Managers to develop solutions for customer problems, including financial and engineering services. Your focus will be on providing customers with a total solution in Indiana. **What you will do:** + Convert leads into opportunities by identifying the required project team members, making assignments, and communicating the next steps in the process to develop a solution for our customers that fits within budget. + Gather and validate preliminary information, perform facility walkthroughs, construction plan reviews, and gather subcontractor bids. + Responsible for project take-off, selection, proposal pricing, and selling strategy, and integration of equipment, controls, and services. + Assist customers in answering technical questions on HVAC systems, Trane products, and system application alternatives, controls, installation, operation, maintenance, and problem resolution. + Travel to customer job sites is required, which may include outdoor work and/or work in mechanical/equipment rooms. During the site visits, the employee may be exposed to variable weather conditions, moving mechanical parts, heights, and other variable environmental conditions based on location. + Identifies customers’ problems and/or needs and creates a dynamic action plan designed to meet them. + Attend sales meetings and report sales activity, new account development, services, promotion, etc. **What you will bring:** + 4+ years of demonstrated selling experience or a Bachelor of Science degree + 3+ years of experience designing solutions + Candidates without a 4-year degree are encouraged to apply; we prioritize practical experience, relevant skills, and alignment with our leadership principles. + Successful experience in Business Development and Sales. + CRM/Salesforce experience is preferred. + DL NUMBER - Driver License, Valid and in State Must possess a valid driver’s license for a minimum of 12 months, with no major or frequent traffic violations included, but not limited to: DUI, Hit & Run, License Suspension, Reckless/Careless Driving or multiple smaller infractions or preventable collisions in the previous 3 years. **Annual Base Salary Range or Hourly Base Pay Range:** $66,800.00 - $154,800.00 **Compensation Type:** Salary **Incentive Eligible:** No **Sales Commission Eligible:** Yes **Disclaimer** : We strive to provide competitive compensation for this position, tailored to a variety of factors.
