Contracted Beautician – Raleigh Court Health & Rehabilitation Center

Position Summary

The Beautician provides professional haircare and grooming services to residents of Raleigh Court, supporting dignity, comfort, and overall well‑being while following all safety and infection‑control standards.

Key Responsibilities

Provide haircuts, shampoo/sets, styling, coloring, and grooming services based on resident needs and preferences.

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized salon space in accordance with Raleigh Court policies and state regulations.

Sanitize tools and equipment between each resident.

Use resident‑centered, dementia‑friendly approaches as appropriate.

Manage appointments, service records, and resident billing.

Communicate with staff regarding resident needs or concerns.

Maintain active state cosmetology license.

Qualifications

Valid state cosmetology license.

Experience with older adults preferred.

Strong customer service and communication skills.

Must meet Raleigh Court compliance requirements (background check, health screenings).

Contract Terms

Independent contractor, not a Raleigh Court employee.

Must carry liability insurance.
