Weatherford is seeking to hire a Contract Specialist in Houston, Texas. This role will support the Legal Supply Chain function globally, primarily by participating in the development of processes, training on such processes and contracting policies, and review and preparation of contracts with vendors and associated legal documents, while maintaining consistency with Weatherford's internal policies and applicable law.

Participates in the review and negotiation of strategic suppliers’ contracts, development of processes, training on such processes and contracting policies, and review and preparation of legal documents, while maintaining consistency with Weatherford's internal policies and applicable law.
Responsibilities
Assists with the review and negotiation of strategic supplier’s contracts Assists with the review and updating of all Supply Chain contract templates Drafts and reviews legal documents (e.g. NDA, Master Purchase Agreements, Master Service Agreements), including the preparation of executive summaries and policy deviation memos Communicates regularly with internal customers, collects data and information from other areas and departments Assists with and/or conducts training of internal customers and employees on Supply Chain templates, policies and processes Performs other reasonably related business/job duties as assigned Provides practical recommendations and advice on various supply chain issues Weatherford reserves the right to revise job duties and responsibilities as the need arises

Required
High school diploma or equivalent 3-5 years of experience reviewing and negotiating contracts (preferably in a corporate legal department)
Preferred
Associate or bachelor’s degree Experience with specific categories of Supply Chain would be a plus (logistics, indirect, raw material, etc.)
