What the day will look like
Based within Griffiths & Armour’s Professional Risks Division, the role will consist of:
+ Reading and reviewing contracts (largely construction contracts) for Griffiths & Armour’s clients.
+ Providing advice, assistance and recommendations to Griffith & Armour’s clients in relation to those contracts.
+ Providing support to client facing brokers within the business.
+ Building relationships with clients.
+ Getting involved in drafting, developing and delivering risk management literature, statistics and presentations.
+ Carrying out other duties and jobs which management may, from time to time, reasonably require.
Full training will be provided, but legal experience is a requirement.
Skills and experience that will lead to success
+ Strong verbal and written communication skills
+ Strong organisation skills (including the ability to effectively manage own workload)
+ Disciplined, conscientious approach to work
+ Ability to manage time well and prioritise tasks
+ Strong attention to detail
+ Strong legal experience and/or legal qualifications
+ Ability to deal with sensitive and/or confidential information appropriately
+ Proficient Microsoft Office
+ Excellent team player
+ Experienced in a client facing role
+ Strong interpersonal skills
+ A demonstrable interest in construction law and/or the construction industry
+ Knowledge of legal/engineering language
+ Business awareness
