Contract Recruiter
Job Title: Recruiter (High-Volume Retail Storefront Experience)

Must Have: Greenhouse ATS system, Google Suite & Slack experience

Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic Recruiter with expertise in high-volume and management-level hiring. This role requires a professional who thrives in fast-paced environments, such as retail, customer support, logistics, distribution centers, studios, or hospitality settings. The ideal candidate will possess strong stakeholder partnership skills and be capable of managing multiple requisitions simultaneously while maintaining a high-touch candidate experience.

Responsibilities

Own the full-cycle recruiting process, from initial outreach to offer close, for both high-volume hourly roles and management-level positions.Partner directly with field leadership, including Showroom Managers, District Managers, Studio and Operations leaders, to act as a strategic hiring partner.Develop and execute creative sourcing strategies using social media, job boards, local networks, and community outreach.Build and maintain consistent talent pipelines for both leadership and hourly roles.Ensure a communicative and engaging candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.Collaborate with other recruiters to balance and manage shifting hiring demands.Represent the employer brand at hiring events, career fairs, and professional meetups.

Essential Skills

3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience with direct ownership of requisitions.Proven success in recruiting for high-volume hourly roles and management-level positions.Ability to manage a high number of open requisitions in a fast-paced, demand-driven environment.Experience partnering directly with field and operational leadership.Hands-on, creative sourcing capability with a strong track record of building and sustaining talent pipelines.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Highly organized, proactive self-starter capable of managing changing priorities.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to articulate role expectations and company mission.Genuine enthusiasm for the company’s mission and values.Experience with applicant tracking systems, such as Greenhouse.

This role operates in a fast-paced and demand-driven environment, often within retail, customer support, logistics, and studio settings. The position requires collaboration with various field leaders and participation in hiring events, necessitating professional attire and a strong representation of the employer brand.

This is a Contract position based out of New York, NY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00/hr.
