**A Brief Overview**
Responsible for the oversight of contracted pricing of products within the Avera Health System. This individual works closely with the entire supply chain to ensure that products are purchased at the appropriate prices on the appropriate contracts. The Contract Pricing Analyst works directly with the Avera GPO and vendor partners to communicate and resolve any discrepancies in the eligibility of contracts. The individual is also responsible for the maintenance of the facility roster and the relationship of the roster to Avera PACE affiliates. The Contract Pricing Analyst is the internal expert to resolve any pricing issues or questions. They also facilitate the accurate price and contract loading into the EDI vendor and MMIS system along with the MMIS staff. They research pricing issues and help Avera Supply Chain achieve a resolution to any problems encountered with pricing of products on contracts.
**What you will do**
+ Analyzes contracts for accurate pricing and manages the data within the information systems to match that pricing to contract.
+ Manages relationships with GPO for optimal contract analysis on pricing and options. Also manages the Avera Health Roster and any related issues or concerns. Acts as a liaison for the Avera PACE group for continuity of rostering and contract eligibility.
+ Works with Avera Health vendor partners to resolve pricing discrepancies and pricing opportunities for all of Avera Health.
+ Acts as a liaison to MMIS for correct contract and pricing information to the Item File. Manages and oversees the approval of data flow from GPO or EDI vendor to MMIS system.
+ Analyzes trends in financial and business operations, formulates recommendations for action, and facilitates process improvement initiatives.
+ Works in close collaboration with the Value Analysis committees, Service Lines, CNO group and other key clinical stakeholders to identify opportunities for savings and standardization opportunities for Avera.
+ Directly involved in the oversight of the ‘approved for use products' within the Avera facilities for those relevant contracts.
+ Acts as a resource for Purchasing to facilitate the use of approved items. Acts as the first point of contact for the purchasing department in contracted pricing for products.
+ Works in close partnership and collaboration with the Avera Clinical Souring Administrators, Contract Managers and clinicians in order to identify large savings opportunities and standardization opportunities.
+ Works in a cost savings matrix to capture both budgeted cost savings as well as capital cost avoidance.
**Essential Qualifications**

**Required Education, License/Certification, or Work Experience:**
+ Bachelor's or 5 years analytical related experience.
+ Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, Visio) or similar products. Expertise preparing, importing and manipulating information in spreadsheets, databases, and presentations.
**Preferred Education, License/Certification, or Work Experience:**
+ Supply Chain experience.
+ Knowledge of Medical/Surgical supplies and equipment, including contract knowledge.
+ Knowledge of GPO systems and contracting practices/strategies.
