Job Title: Contract Manufacturing Engineer
Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Contract Manufacturing Engineer to address a significant backlog of work. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in CNC programming and setup, particularly with Fanuc-based CNC lathes. Experience with CNC verticals and horizontals is also beneficial.

ResponsibilitiesProgram and set up Fanuc-based CNC lathes.Support the programming and setup of Fanuc-based CNC verticals and horizontals.Facilitate process improvements and implement Six Sigma principles.Select appropriate tools and support machine setup.Conduct first piece sample tests and make necessary corrections to achieve desired statistical outcomes.Essential SkillsExtensive experience in CNC programming and machining.Proficiency in operating CNC lathes, including 3, 4, and 5 Axis CNC Lathes with bar feeders.Solid understanding of manufacturing engineering and process improvement.Knowledge of Solidworks and engineering principles.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with CNC machining and assembly processes.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.Work Environment

The role involves working in a manufacturing setting, focusing on process improvement and CNC operations. The environment requires precision and attention to detail, ensuring quality and efficiency in all tasks. Dress code is appropriate for a manufacturing environment.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Mequon, Wisconsin.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $45.00/hr.
